Quebec is offering more than 1,000 positions to citizens of the European Union and the United Kingdom

On the occasion of the 23rd edition of the Journées du Québec, which will be held online from June 7th to 12th, the local government is launching a recruitment program open to citizens or residents of the European Union, the Schengen Area and the United Kingdom. The professional areas concerned are:
- Information Technology;
- Video Games;
- Electrical, electronic and mechanical engineering;
- Industry and Construction;
- Land and Maritime Transportation;
- Administration, Marketing, Sales and Services;
- Health and social services ;
- Agribusiness; and
- Catering.
What you need to know!
The deadline to apply for a job is May 25th, 2021 (click here to see job postings). When you are hired, you will be granted a renewable temporary work permit, valid for two or three years, which can also lead to a permanent residency in Canada.
You should also know that in order to migrate to Quebec, you must attest your French language skills by taking the TEF Quebec (TEFAQ). The referred-to exam can be taken upon request at The Alliance française de Malte-Méditerranée which is the only accredited center in Malta.
