Discover the Tradition of Beaujolais Nouveau

What is Beaujolais Nouveau ?

Beaujolais is a renowned wine region in Eastern France, nestled between Burgundy and the Rhône. Famous for its light, fruity red wines made from the Gamay grape, the region produces vibrant wines perfect for the warmer seasons.

Raise Your Glass to Beaujolais Nouveau 2024

Every year, the arrival of the Beaujolais Nouveau—a young wine from the year’s harvest—is celebrated worldwide on the third Thursday of November. This tradition dates back to the 1800s, when French winegrowers would toast to the end of the harvest season with a glass of the fresh, just-bottled wine. The tradition has since grown into a global celebration, with festivals and colorful labels marking each year’s release.

We’re excited to bring this cherished tradition to Malta, and we invite you to join us in true French fashion with a glass of Beaujolais in hand!
