Francophonie Week: Interview of the President at Radju Malta

We all know that March is the month of the language of Molière. So, logically enough, these last few weeks witnessed the French language and the various French-speaking cultures being honored throughout the world, thanks to the celebration of the Week of the Francophonie. Within this framework, the President of the Alliance Française de Malte-Méditerranée, Ms Lorraine Spiteri, was interviewed on the Newsline program, hosted by Joe Dimech on the national radio station, Radju Malta.

During a 10-minute interview, Ms Spiteri highlighted the mission of the Alliance, its objectives, its close collaboration with the French Embassy in Malta as well as all its activities dedicated to the promotion of the French language and the rich French culture.

In addition, topics such as the presence of the Francophonie in Malta, the benefits of learning the French language and the celebration of the Francophonie week in times of pandemic were discussed.
