Petit Pays
To celebrate the New Year, the Alliance Française de Malte-Méditerranée is proud to welcome you to the Spazju Kreattiv for the fifth screening of the season on Wednesday 18 January at 7.30pm. On the programme: the film adaptation of Gaël Faye’s novel, Petit Pays by Eric Barbier. A beautiful film, full of innocence and hope.

We follow a Franco-Rwandan family in the 1990s in Burundi. Gabriel, a young boy, lives a peaceful life surrounded by his friends. Until the calm little country where he grew up descends into chaos. A beautiful story about the Rwandan genocide, both poignant and touching, told by a child.
