Raining Cats and Frogs
We’ll meet you at the next Ziguzajg screening! This festival is organised by Spazju Kreattiv and is the only festival in Malta specifically aimed at children & young people. It presents an enticing programme of international productions and newly commissioned work. In collaboration with France Malta and the Institut Français, we propose you the screening of French animation movies. This month, come and see the film Raining Cats and Frogs by Jacques-Rémy Girerd, released in 2003.

A new deluge falls on the Earth. Only a small, motley crew led by Ferdinand, today’s Noah, manages to defy the elements, which are unleashed in disproportion. Humans and animals are drawn into the whirlwind of a fantastic adventure…Raining Cats and Frogs is a troubling fable that revisits the story of Noah’s Ark. The frogs, faced with an event that seriously threatens most living beings, decide to break their age-old vow of silence towards humans.
