FRENCH FILM DAYS SEASON #5 IS HERE! 

The fifth edition of the French Film Days is starting! The only French film festival in Malta is back and brought to you by the Alliance Française de Malte Méditerranée and Spazju Kreattiv Cinema, in collaboration with the French Embassy and the Institut Français.

The first screening is set on September 15th at 07:30 pm with the movie Antoinette dans les Cévennes, good time guaranteed! Last June, we received the director of the movie, Caroline Vignal, during our Francophonie Week 2021. Many showed interest in attending the event but due to restrictions, we couldn’t receive everyone. That is why we give you the opportunity once more to join us for a screening!

More information on this movie: Antoinette dans les Cévennes was nominated several times in the Official Selection of the Cannes Film Festival 2020 and actress Laure Calamy received the award for Best Actress at the César ceremony of 2021!

In this movie, Antoinette is hoping for a romantic summer week with her secret lover, Vladimir. But things do not go according to plan as he decides to cancel their one-to-one stay to go hiking in the mountains of the Cevennes with his wife and daughter. Antoinette does not hesitate to chase after him! When she arrives in the Cevennes, no Vladimir in sight, but a very stubborn donkey, Patrick and a singular journey for Antoinette…

COVID-19 GUIDELINES

In order to maintain certain health precautions, screenings will be limited to a maximum of 30 people.

Spazju Kreattiv will refuse entry onto the premises of patrons if they are visibly unwell or have respiratory symptoms.

Patrons are subjects to temperature checks at the entrance for the presence of fever (persons with a temperature of 37.2 Celsius or higher will be denied entrance).

Adequate and easily accessible hand sanitisers at the entrance of the premises and in common areas are in place. Patrons are to sanitise their hands prior to entrance.

Patrons are encouraged to wear masks or visors while on the premises.

Audiences are encouraged to maintain social distancing of at least 2 metres from other individuals/groups.

Attendance is required 30 mins prior to the screening due to temperature checks and other precautionary measures that will be taken to ensure public safety.
