What could be better in this rainy winter month than to meet at the cinema for the fourth screening of French Film Days? Before the Christmas holidays, the Alliance Française de Malte-Méditerranée and the French Embassy in Malta propose a film full of tenderness and sweetness. We follow a family, a father and two sons, in the midst of an existential crisis. Their blunders and mistakes make them touching characters who are so close to us. The father, a well-known doctor, dreams of being a Dostoyevsky, but to no avail, Joachim, the eldest, is about to abandon his studies following a heartbreak and Ivan, the youngest, resents his two role models for remaining children. This bittersweet comedy with a remarkable cast will move you and warm your heart.
